Context allows you to manage contextual conditions and reactions for different portions of your site. You can think of each context as representing a "section" of your site. For each context, you can choose the conditions that trigger this context to be active and choose different aspects of Drupal that should react to this active context. Think of conditions as a set of rules that are checked during page load to see what context is active. Any reactions that are associated with active contexts are then fired.

GNOME Dictionary is a DICT client written in C by Emmanuele Bassi and others. It is part of the open-source GNOME desktop software suite, inside the gnome-utils meta-package. It allows users of GNOME to look up words on dictionary sources.

GNU Aspell is a Free and Open Source spell checker designed to eventually replace Ispell. It can either be used as a library or as an independent spell checker. Its main feature is that it does a superior job of suggesting possible replacements for misspelled words.

Guardian ROM is a custom android ROM for Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 devices. The ROM is completely Open Source and based off of the Android Open Source Project. The ROM aims to due the following:

Secure/Harden the android kernel with GRSecurity
Remove uneeded/Insecure binaries (Similar to SecDroid)
Replace insecure Text Messaging app with TextSecure
Include apps from the Guardian Project Installer (Optional add-on)
Include support for SQLCipher
Change Android Full Disk Encryption from AES-128 to AES-256 for more security
Allow for seperate Login and boot passwords
All of these have been completed except the final three which are underway but will take much more time.

Ispell is a program that enables users to correct spelling and typographical errors in a file. When presented with a word that is not in the dictionary, Ispell attempts to find near misses that might include the word you meant.

JOSM is the "Java OpenStreetMap Editor", a desktop application originally developed by Immanuel Scholz and currently maintained by Dirk Stöcker. K-9 is an opensource email client based on the Email application shipped with the initial release of Android.

Kartouche is a web-based translation tool - it allows translations to be submitted via a browser-based interface. Kartouche's sister application, Omnivore, stores the completed translations in a searchable store to which comments and corrections can be added.

KeePassX saves many different information e.g. user names, passwords, urls, attachments and comments in one single database. For a better management user-defined titles and icons can be specified for each single entry. Furthermore the entries are sorted in groups, which are customizable as well. The integrated search function allows to search in a single group or the complete database.

These are some of the tools IssueLab uses regularly for managing and mobilizing information and nonprofit research on social issues - internally and with a broader audience online.

Kyfiethu is a web-based Welsh translation workflow tool. It is based on Kartouche.

Launchpad Translations (codenamed "Rosetta") is a platform for open source application translation on the internet. It lets anybody help translate their favorite open source application into their favorite spoken language. Launchpad supports most localizable open-source applications.

LibreOffice is the free Open Source personal productivity suite for Windows, Macintosh and Linux, that gives you six feature-rich applications for all your document production and data processing needs: Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math and Base.

Lingro is an online multilingual dictionary tool. Lingro's mission is to create an on-line environment that allows anyone learning a language to quickly look up and learn the vocabulary most important to them. Lingro is not open source software, but all content on Lingro is licensed under Creative Commons.

LionWiki is a minimalist Wiki engine programmed in PHP. It is extensible, templatable, file based (it doesn't need database like MySQL) and requires just one file to function. It is suitable for small websites, personal notebooks or journals.

Description:

Google apps track users more than most other apps as they are system-apps and therefore have full rights on android.

There are several problems with avoiding Google apps:

You won't get regular updates for your apps. Google's apps are not bad in functionality, but are in privacy.

No access to Play Store (There are many alternative markets, but nothing is as good for free apps as Play Store) Meanwhile, F-Droid provides nearly everything you need.

Some apps do not install because of missing Google Maps API

Some apps Force Close at start-up because of missing Maps API or market license check issues

Some apps hard-coded links to several Google Apps and therefore Force Close or react unexpectedly on certain cases.
